Phil Jelley
 

Phil joined the Legal Insurance Management team in 2003 as the National Account Manager and then became Operations Director in January 2005. Phil first met Barry Smith whilst looking for an insurer for a scheme he had set up whilst broking. Before he joined LIM, Phil had worked for 23 years in the insurance industry for several big name insurance companies including Phoenix Assurance and Prudential Assurance where he worked in the broker division as a motor underwriter.

Phil is a keen rugby fan and supports Leicester Tigers where he can be found on match days running the kids club which he has been doing for 10 years. As well as watching his younger daughter play hockey for Leicester Ladies and British Colleges, he has also managed the club's hockey teams at several different tiers. Phil is married with two daughters and if he wasn't working in insurance, he would have liked to have been a geologist or in sporting management!
