Relationship renewed with UK Underwriting Ltd

Updated 8 June 2005

Following a successful first year, LIM is delighted to confirm that it has agreed to continue to place their BTE account via UKUL.

As part of the arrangement, the insurer will change for UK based risks to Norwich Union with Primary Insurance Company Ltd remaining as the insurer for risks based in the Republic of Ireland.

Commenting on the relationship, Steve Ekins of UKUL said

' We are very pleased to be able to support LIM in developing their Before the Event Legal Expenses business. They are able to balance the excellent service needed by their customers with the need for profitable underwriting. In doing so they are able to manage the feat of keeping all their business partners satisfied.'

Barry Smith of LIM stated ' Following the transfer of our business to UKU as a result of NIG's withdrawal from the market (our previous insurer with whom we enjoyed a profitable relationship of 4 years), the transition has been seamless thus enabling us to continue the quality of service and product to our customers'.
